At GoGlobal , the Global Product Owner (GPO), Accounting & Tax owns the A&T product end to end — its global scope, standards, commercial logic, processes, and economics — and leads the function as a Managing Director–level member of the Delivery leadership team. Reporting to the Chief Delivery Officer, you are accountable for the growth, profitability, and reputation of A&T worldwide.
This is a leadership role whose primary objective is business growth through flawless delivery. You are the senior product and delivery voice for A&T in the market — client-facing, trusted by prospects and key accounts, and the partner of choice for Revenue and Sales in winning and expanding business. As the ultimate subject-matter expert for A&T, you stay close to market trends and customer demands and translate them into how the service is designed, packaged, priced, and delivered.
You lead the A&T function globally through the Global Process Manager (GPM), the Regional Product Owners (RPOs), and the Outsourcing Control (OC) leads. You build the delivery organisation to meet both market opportunity and client expectation, set and defend global standards as the foundation for scalable and sustainable delivery, and act as an inspiring leader for the teams who deliver A&T every day.
Roles & Responsibilities
Commercial Leadership & Growth
Own the growth agenda for A&T — revenue, win rate, retention, and expansion — as the primary measure of the role’s success.
Act as the senior, client-facing product authority for A&T: anchoring strategic client engagements, pitches, high-stakes decisions, and escalations.
Partner with Revenue and Sales as the expert in the room — qualifying opportunities, shaping scope and pricing, and helping convert and expand accounts.
Define and evolve the commercial logic — packaging, bundling, premiums, and guardrails — so A&T can be sold and delivered profitably at scale.
Own the reputation of the A&T product in the market.
Product Strategy & Standards
Own the global scope, service definitions, and standards for A&T — what is in, what is out, and how it is delivered.
Set global execution standards, SLAs, and compliance expectations across all regions and delivery models.
Drive consistency of delivery across regions while enabling them to flex within agreed guardrails.
Market Insight & Service Design
Act as the ultimate subject-matter expert for A&T, maintaining a deep, current view of market trends, competitor moves, and evolving customer demands.
Translate market and client insight into the design of the service and the delivery organisation, so the function is structured to meet both demand and expectation.
Shape the product roadmap and delivery-model choices (in-house, outsourced, automated) to capture growth opportunities.
Process Standardisation & Continuous Improvement
Set the global A&T operating model and process standards; approve processes, SOPs, and control frameworks before they enter delivery.
Direct the Global Process Manager (GPM) on process design, standardisation, controls, and scalability — turning product intent into repeatable, executable delivery.
Support the enterprise AI direction and drive its adoption within A&T to enable scale and quality.
Cost Management & Commercial Sustainability
Own product-level cost-to-serve for A&T, driving efficiency, productivity, and long-term economic sustainability.
Make deliberate trade-offs across scope design, automation, sourcing, and delivery-model choices to keep delivery economics healthy as the product scales.
Diagnose cost pressures, identify root causes, and lead corrective action, supported by Finance on modelling and analysis.
Regional Delivery Governance & Team Leadership
Lead all Regional Product Owners (RPOs) for A&T as their global head, holding them and the Outsourcing Control leads accountable for regional delivery outcomes and economics.
Provide the framework within which regional autonomy — in-house versus outsourced mix, capacity, and hiring proposals — is exercised, and arbitrate cross-regional or peer-function disagreements when escalated.
Lead, mentor, and develop the GPM, RPOs, and OC leads; build product, commercial, and delivery capability across the global A&T team.
Scope & Commercial Governance
Propose and own changes to product scope, service tiers, and commercial logic, routing them through the agreed approval framework for impact assessment and implementation readiness.
Support enabling functions on scope-to-catalogue mapping, SKU registration, and pricing alignment.
Validate post-implementation effectiveness of scope and commercial changes through defined metrics, and refine where needed.
Compliance, Audit & Risk
Set the global compliance posture for A&T across accounting standards (IFRS, local GAAP), tax legislation, and statutory reporting requirements.
Ensure A&T delivery maintains internal controls and regulatory adherence in every jurisdiction the product serves.
Engage with internal and external audit on A&T product-level matters.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the Chief Delivery Officer, peer Global Product Owners, Revenue, Technology, and the enabling functions across Delivery.
Represent the A&T product in cross-functional and executive forums.
Key Performance Indicators
Revenue growth and win rate for the product.
Retention and net revenue retention (NRR).
Margin and cost-to-serve.
Delivery SLA attainment and quality.
Client satisfaction (NPS).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
15+ years of experience in accounting, tax, or finance operations, with at least 5 years owning a product, service line, or regional / global function end to end.
Managing Director–level leadership experience, with the gravitas to operate as a senior commercial and product leader.
Track record of driving growth — revenue, win rate, retention, and expansion — not only delivery.
Experience running a service-line P&L at scale — owning cost-to-serve, productivity, margin, and pricing logic.
Strong working knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP, tax legislation, and statutory reporting requirements across multiple regions (APAC, EMEA, and ideally the Americas).
Demonstrated experience designing service standards, commercial logic (packaging, bundling, premiums), and pricing frameworks.
Strong client-facing and business-development capability, comfortable as the senior product voice in front of clients and prospects.
Experience leading senior delivery and product leaders — regional heads, process leads, and outsourcing-control / vendor-management leads — across multiple regions.
Deep market awareness, with the ability to read trends and customer demand and shape the service accordingly.
Process-oriented mindset, believing in global standards as the foundation for scalable, sustainable delivery — with the judgement to know where flexibility serves the client.
Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills; comfortable with financial modelling, scenario analysis, and unit economics.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence at executive level.
Proficiency in accounting platforms — Xero in particular (the central A&T platform) — and other ERP / accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
Comfort with AI-assisted tools and automation as enablers of product scale and quality.
Preferred
Prior experience as a product or service-line head in a global outsourced accounting / corporate-services firm or in a Big-4 advisory / managed-services context.
Experience leading a P&L turnaround, transformation, or in-housing programme.
Experience operating in an EoR, PEO, or global business services environment

OVERVIEW
As a privately owned company, we are free from the pressures of venture capital or private equity investors demanding exponential growth in unreasonable time frames.
Sometimes, things just take time to do well. In our business, delivering great results is a process - and we're committed to doing it right.
We are not for sale. We believe that financial success is a natural outcome of our work, not the primary goal. Unlike many investors who view money as a goal, our focus is on long-term growth and sustainable success.
We are a global team, built for those who want to go further. Here's what your career at GoGlobal looks like:
A company small enough for your voice to be heard meaningfully, yet large enough to make a global impact Collaborating with a diverse, global and supportive team Built for the long-haul - no VC or PE pressure, just a focus on sustainable growth
WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT
We Make Growing Your Career Possible
We operate with the benefits of a partnership without the complexities of a partnership. Our hybrid partnership-corporate model offers all employees the opportunity to become a partner, while maintaining a streamlined corporate structure so that decisions are made quickly.
We do not offer equity plans. As we are not for sale and are not chasing an exit, "stock options" hold little value in our business model. Instead, we provide opportunities for outstanding employees to make partner and share in the profits. We believe it's better to build lasting value than to chase a one-time payout.
We prioritize organic and sustainable growth. Expanding operations quickly by way of mergers and acquisitions might seem appealing, but the reality is integrating diverse cultures can be challenging. We're proud of our own culture and prefer to grow it our way.
We're global. We offer career opportunities across the world-whether it's new job roles or international locations English is our official language, but for many, it's our second language. We embrace this and find it rewarding communicating with colleagues from all over the world.
We are not a family. We operate more like a high-performing sports team where each individual's contribution is crucial to our collective success.
We keep things simple and collaborative. Our structure makes it easy for teams to work together across borders so we can serve our clients with global needs more effectively. Unlike big, siloed companies, we work seamlessly to handle international deals without the headaches of territorial ownership.
We believe in transparency and trust. Every month, we share our financials with the team so everyone knows where we stand and what's coming next. It's all about open communication, building trust and empowering every individual to be part of our journey. We don't tell you what to think - we provide the information you need to make your own informed decisions.
We believe flexibility drives success. Our company is built on trust, and that's why we embrace fully remote work, and hybrid options in some countries. Forget rigid office routines - it's old school! This flexibility fuels productivity, strengthens our workforce, and ensures we remain agile in a fast-changing world.
