Functional overview

This role has high accountability in overseeing HR Business Partnering, Compensation & Benefits, People Experience & Organizational Development, and Talent Acquisition as he/she reports directly to the COO.

Overall Duties and Responsibilities:

Build an effective and productive relationship with key stakeholders to define & lead initiatives to support the achievement of organizational goals.

Responsible for the development of the annual departmental budget in collaboration with P&C core leaders.

Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business and organization’s financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and its competition with laser focus on the goal of enhancing business performance.

Identifies and supports the business in successfully delivering credible, customer focused, cost-effective and innovative solutions using a range of techniques.

Collaboration with the marketing in determining a unified strategy to establish a strong employer brand.

Amplifies the organization’s culture and promotes a departmental culture amongst the People & Culture team.

HR Operations & Business Partnering Oversees the operation of our HR Information Systems to ensure accuracy of data.

Maintains, develops, recommends, and implements program objectives, policies, and procedures.

Develops and pursues new goals and objectives for improvement in areas of employee relations and/or labor relations.

Ensures that people managers across the organization are educated, fully knowledgeable, and adheres to the Philippine labor standards.

Oversees HR business review relevant to internal or staff leased employees.

Oversees the development and/or improvement of HR policies in compliance with the Philippine labor law.

Oversees and reviews employee movement documentation to ensure accuracy in records and employees are updated of their new movements and/or status within the organization.

Compensation & Benefits

Oversees the development and implementation of new and revised compensation programs, policies, and procedures.
Providing advice and supporting data to key stakeholders on salary, compensation, and benefits in line with statutory requirements.
Overseeing and periodically reviewing the administration of benefits.

Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation, benefits packages, incentive plans and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and organizational objectives.

Ensure implementation of payroll process to adhere to the organization’s standards on timeliness and proper administration.

People Experience & Organizational Development

Assesses org-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies suitable training solutions for employees.
Enables the organization to achieve its goals and individuals to fulfill their potential within the organization.
Develop, initiate, and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion, and succession planning.

Develop people strategies, drive a high performance and engagement culture through talent management, performance management and leadership development which is in tune with relevant industry practices and tools.

Leverages on analysis of ongoing programs to ensure that quality training/learning is provided to business departments and that there is a constant improvement in training programs and initiatives.

Provides direction and development of lasting leadership development programs within the business.

Talent Acquisition

Oversees the talent acquisition function and help the organization hire top talent in a timely, efficient & cost-effective manner while promoting diverse & inclusive hiring practices.
