Responsibilities

SafeGuard Services (SGS), a subsidiary of Peraton , performs data analysis, investigation, and medical review to detect, prevent, deter, reduce, and make referrals to recover fraud, waste, and abuse.

We are looking to add a Medicaid Auditor/Investigator to our SGS team of talented professionals.

What you'll do:

This individual will conduct audits and reviews of various Medicaid programs to ensure compliance with federal and state Medicaid program requirements and to recover over-payments for non-compliance. The individual applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems of moderately complex scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and correctly interprets policies.
