Industry: Marine / Ship Chandling

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure marine stores, provisions, spare parts, and technical supplies.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery terms with suppliers.
• Issue Purchase Orders and ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Coordinate closely with Operations and Warehouse teams on stock availability and urgent vessel requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish fast-moving items.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier database, and cost comparisons.
• Resolve supply issues and manage supplier performance.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of purchasing experience (marine industry preferred).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/inventory systems.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with urgent deadlines.
• Working Hours: Mon–Fri (9am–6pm), Sat WFH Half Day
