Overview of Position
The Associate Director (Assoc. Dir.), Program Management R&D is responsible for providing program management support within the R&D organization driving and enabling successful execution of R&D activities for asset development. This role sits within the Taysha Program Management Office and will partner with the Medical Affairs organization, a function within R&D that works closely with various other areas of Taysha, to support strategic planning and decision making as well as tactical activity planning and tracking to ensure deliverables are aligned with strategic imperatives, thoroughly planned, and executed in a timely manner. As Assoc. Dir., working on a program with increasing complexity is anticipated which will require partnerships with external team members, as well as leads from other Taysha functions (e.g. Commercial, Patient Advocacy, R&D functions, etc.) to meet high-level clinical and corporate program milestones. While this role is primarily focused on enabling Medical Affairs activity execution, there may be other projects within R&D that will require support, requiring the ideal candidate to be flexible, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and to have general R&D knowledge.
