• This is a fully remote position.
• PURPOSE

This position is responsible for the initial response, alert classification, and escalation of security incidents for Ascend service consumers. Individuals will need to be able to execute those tasks in a timely, accurate, and recurring capacity. This role will be measured on the speed of incident assignment and triage along with more traditional metrics like timecards and quality of customer response. While client communication occurs infrequently compared to a service desk, the importance of a clear and quality response is significantly higher.
