About Ume Intelligence
Ume Intelligence is a marketing science company solving complex commercial problems for multi-location restaurant brands. We build modern analytics and automation infrastructure, paired with hands-on digital operations that turn operational data into measurable revenue.
We operate as a lean, high-leverage team with no walls between engineering and operations. We look for marketers who run toward technology, automation, and data models rather than away from them—and who evaluate success by real business impact (margin, demand, and net revenue) rather than vanity metrics or campaigns launched. If you are technologically fearless, adapt quickly as tools evolve, and thrive at the intersection of data and execution, you will fit right in.
The Role
We are seeking a commercially minded, tech-fluent Senior Digital Marketing Manager to own end-to-end multi-channel marketing operations for our multi-location brand clients.
In this role, you sit at the intersection of technology and execution. You will run the digital engine driving revenue, margin, and foot traffic across paid media, local search, CRM, and third-party delivery platforms (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub). You will act as the trusted operational partner to senior US brand stakeholders, using AI-native workflows and automated systems to operate with speed, precision, and leverage.
What You'll Own
Commercial Account Leadership & Communication: Act as the primary operational partner for assigned US multi-location accounts. Lead weekly client reviews, deliver data-backed performance reports, and communicate business impact directly to executive stakeholders.
Multi-Channel Growth Operations: Build, launch, and optimize campaigns across paid search (Google Ads), local search/SEO (Google Business Profile, Apple Maps), CRM/retention funnels, and social platforms.
Third-Party Delivery (3PD) Merchandising: Optimize digital storefronts, promotional calendars, and menu visibility across delivery marketplaces (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub) to drive incremental profitable orders.
AI-Native Workflow Execution: Systematically leverage generative AI models and automation workflows (Claude, ChatGPT, Midjourney, custom scripts) across copy variations, competitor intelligence, reporting, and operational sprint tasks.
Data Synthesis & Business Impact: Track conversion metrics, ROAS, CAC, and store-level demand drivers. Transform messy multi-unit data into clear commercial insights and proactive optimization plans.
Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Partner closely with internal technical teams, engineering workflows, and client leadership to ensure seamless marketing calendar execution and zero promotional downtime.
What You Bring
Experience & Background
3–5+ years of hands-on experience driving multi-channel digital marketing operations (paid search, local search/listings, delivery aggregators, and CRM) Prior experience in a tech company, high-growth startup, or fast-paced digital agency environment.
Proven track record managing client-facing relationships with US-based stakeholders, including leading live meetings and presenting data-heavy performance updates.
Relevant academic grounding (Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or Business). An MBA from a premier program (e.g., IIMs, ISB, or equivalent) is an advantage, but exceptional demonstrated analytical capability and commercial impact take precedence over credentials.
Core Competencies & Must-Haves
Commercial & Technical Fluency: Comfort with data structures, spreadsheets, unit economics, and modern software tools. You understand how marketing levers impact store-level P&Ls and inspect data directly instead of waiting on someone else to pull a report.
Practical AI & Automation Mastery: Daily operational comfort with LLMs and AI tools (prompt architecture, data synthesis, rapid drafting) to accelerate execution velocity without sacrificing quality.
Disciplined Project Management: Proficiency with modern sprint tracking and project management tools (ClickUp, Asana, etc.) with meticulous attention to detail and SOP integrity.
Executive-Level Communication: Flawless written and verbal English communication, suitable for presenting directly to US brand executives and operators.
Nice to Have
Direct experience running promotions, menu management, and listings on DoorDash, Uber Eats, or Grubhub.
Background in multi-unit retail, franchise networks, or restaurant food & beverage operations.
Familiarity with listing automation platforms (e.g., Yext, BrightLocal) and advanced CRM workflows (e.g., Klaviyo, HubSpot).
Workspace & Connectivity Requirements
High-speed, reliable home internet connection available (minimum 200 Mbps with a secondary backup connection).
Dedicated, quiet, distraction-free remote home office setup for professional video conferencing.
How Performance Is Measured
You will have world-class proprietary tooling, automation engines, and state-of-the-art AI infrastructure at your fingertips—designed to eliminate low-value manual busywork and give you extraordinary leverage. With that leverage comes a high standard for analytical rigor, client empathy, and operational excellence:
Commercial Lift & Client Outcomes (35% Weight) We exist to drive measurable business impact for our brand partners. Success is evaluated on genuine client growth, not activity volume or campaigns launched.
Target: Consistently achieving or exceeding client-specific margin, ROAS, foot-traffic, and incremental demand targets.
Operational Accuracy & Detail Rigor (30% Weight)
In multi-location restaurant networks, precision is non-negotiable. Small mistakes in localized pricing, menu availability, promotional dates, or geo-targeting directly impact store-level P&Ls and brand trust.
Target: Zero unforced errors on live client channels; disciplined adherence to pre-launch verification workflows and QA protocols.
This is a high-visibility, forward-deployed role serving executive stakeholders at US brands. You act as an extension of their leadership team—anticipating operational bottlenecks, framing data with empathy for store operators, and leading crisp, high-value client reviews.
Target: Proactive issue resolution before the client spots it, structured meeting agendas, and consistently high client satisfaction ratings.
Dependability & Execution Velocity (15% Weight)
Operating across borders requires complete reliability. You maximize our modern toolchain to deliver work at speeds traditional teams cannot match, while maintaining seamless availability and collaboration during customer core hours.
