About the Team
As part of the Asset Protection department, you will help protect the company’s people, property, and profitability. The team plays a critical role in minimizing loss, identifying risks, and supporting a safe environment for associates and customers. Asset Protection team members are recognized for strong investigative and analytical skills, clear communication, process-driven thinking, and effective partnerships across departments and with outside agencies.
About the Role
The Asset Protection Investigator is a highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated professional who helps protect company assets and reduce risk across all brands and channels by using strong investigative and analytical skills to identify fraud, theft, policy violations, and Asset Protection concerns through EBR systems, transaction review, AI-assisted analysis, social networking platforms, incident reporting, ad hoc queries, and department reports. This role conducts timely investigations, develops case summaries, compiles documentation, and prepares investigative findings for the Asset Protection team, internal business partners such as Legal and HR, and, when appropriate, outside agencies including law enforcement and financial institutions. The Investigator also maintains department files and records in accordance with company standards and supports daily and weekly responsibilities, including case reporting, case auditing, PCI compliance hotlines, and CCPA review.
