Alaka Sutar

I’m a results-driven Senior Frontend/UI developer with 9+ years of experience architecting scalable, high-performance web applications for global enterprise clients, including HSBC (UK) and ACI Worldwide. My deep expertise spans Angular (v4–v19), React 18, TypeScript, NgRx, and JavaScript—especially across fintech, digital payments, and capital markets. I consistently translate Figma designs into WCAG 2.1-accessible, production-ready interfaces, reducing component integration time by ~25% and improving perceived performance with lazy-loaded module architecture and reusable component libraries. In recent roles, I engineered NgRx/RxJS state management, implemented JWT-based authentication flows and robust error handling, and delivered pixel-perfect, WCAG 2.1-accessible Angular components across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. I also focus on engineering velocity and quality through comprehensive Jasmine/Karma unit testing, Playwright E2E coverage, and GitHub Copilot-assisted automation for code generation and refactoring. I’ve led Angular migrations from v10 to v19, collaborated with backend teams on REST APIs/Swagger contracts, enforced security best practices (JWT handling, CORS, OWASP-aligned validation), and mentored developers to raise standards in performance, accessibility, and secure coding.
