Boris Finkelshteyn

I am a lead software developer with 13+ years building high-performance Java, Kotlin, and Go web applications and over a decade of full‑stack experience. I focus on designing resilient, low‑latency distributed systems and delivering production‑ready solutions. I have led end‑to‑end projects from architecture through deployment, including migrating infrastructures to Kubernetes, automating environments with Terraform and ArgoCD, and establishing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD and AWS tools. My work includes building a sub‑50ms chat backend, developing multi‑tenant OAuth2/SAML authorization servers, and replacing legacy async systems with reactive Spring WebFlux backends; I emphasize profiling and performance tuning that improved API response times by orders of magnitude. I practice strong code quality through reviews and testing, mentor engineers, and integrate observability practices with Grafana and OpenTelemetry; I deliver secure, well‑tested solutions that pass independent security audits and scale reliably in cloud environments.
