At Cyber Café, I’m the only IT technician, looking after the computers, network and online security. I find and fix computer, software, printer and scanner problems, and install and update Windows and other programs. I run the café’s wired and Wi-Fi network, connecting computers and printers to one internet line. I troubleshoot IP, DHCP and DNS issues, configure routers and switches, and set rules and content filters to block unsafe websites. I also help customers use online government services and teach them to spot scam emails. I hold 11 Cisco and Fortinet certificates covering areas including networking, cybersecurity and Python, and I’m looking for an IT support, cybersecurity or networking job where I can use my skills and keep learning.
