I’m a corporate legal and regulatory compliance executive with “over ten years of post-call experience in Nigeria,” focused on the intersection of law, regulation, and commercial strategy. I advise boards, financial institutions, and fast-growing businesses—whether the work is policy design, regulatory engagement, or high-stakes documentation. My track record includes “designing AML/CFT frameworks that have passed external regulatory scrutiny,” representing companies in “formal EFCC proceedings,” and building compliance programmes from zero across multiple subsidiaries. I translate regulatory change into practical, board-level decisions and operational controls that regulators can understand and review with confidence. In my most recent role, I “built the company’s AML and CFT compliance programme from zero,” covering PEP policy, enhanced due diligence, and suspicious transaction procedures across five subsidiaries. I’ve also served as the primary liaison with EFCC and other regulatory bodies, managing formal engagements and government inquiries while protecting corporate interests.
