About
At VestaCare, Inc., I work on Java systems for healthcare claims, ACH payments, and provider administration. I built a production workflow that converts HCFA, UB, and Dental claim images into validated ANSI X12 837 claims, preparing training data and integrating image-to-text models through Apache NiFi.
I also modernized the ACH provider portal from JSP/Servlets to Angular and Spring Boot while preserving its business rules, access controls, and Oracle data model. My work has reduced manual claim correction effort, and I've developed claims tooling and workflow automation for provider administration and ACH processing.
