Grant evaluation professional at the EU Youth Empowerment Fund who assessed 575+ youth-led applications across three SDG sub-clusters.
KenyaProject Report Reviewer at Global Youth Mobilization
About
At the Youth Empowerment Fund, I directed the assessment of 575+ youth-led funding applications across three SDG sub-clusters, informing funding decisions for grassroots initiatives. I now review grantee reports and provide feedback that supports implementation, evidence of outcomes and grant accountability.
For the Innovate4Cities Conference, I served as Chapter Editor of the youth-authored I4C26 Youth Reflections Report. I coordinated 11 contributing authors and edited Chapter 4, Bridging Knowledge and Action, for a five-chapter report coordinated by the University of Melbourne.
I also secured the official TEDx license and organised the first TEDx event at a private Kenyan university. At Global Citizenship Foundation, I developed three inclusive education policy briefs, two of which were adopted across the organisation’s international programmes. I’m seeking to apply my experience in international cooperation, grant-making and inclusive governance to advance sustainable development outcomes in a mission-driven organisation.
