About

At Citi, I own Node.js and TypeScript microservices in the card payment systems team's authorization path. I reworked a wires-ledger reconciliation job, reducing the unmatched-item backlog from 2,317 to 611 over six weeks. I added Redis-backed idempotency keys to the settlements API to stop duplicate debits during retry storms, and set up AWS Lambda and SQS workers for KYC/KYB document checks. I also mentor junior engineers and run the ledger service on-call rota. At FDM Group, I supported a regional bank's remittances platform and moved settlements batch processing to AWS ECS tasks, reducing failed runs from about one in five to roughly one in 37. I also wrote TypeScript and Jest integration tests and helped extend a digital asset platform's wallet-balance service with Redis caching.
