BotswanaSoftware Developer (DevOps) at Botswana Institute for Technology Research and Innovation
About
At the Botswana Institute for Technology Research and Innovation, I build and maintain resilient infrastructure for national digital health platforms, including electronic medical record and Master Facility List initiatives.
I automate delivery and operations with Jenkins, Docker, Docker Swarm, Linux, reverse proxies, and CI/CD pipelines. I also implement observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, cAdvisor, and Node Exporter to improve uptime and incident response.
Previously at Thito Holdings, I led customer-facing and internal applications for online loan applications, loan tracking, customer records, and helpdesk management. I worked directly with users and stakeholders to turn operational needs into reliable workflows.
I've also launched AI products for transcription, retrieval-grounded knowledge access, and AI-readiness assessment, and share practical technology knowledge through Koding 101 and technical writing.
