I build scalable back-end and event-driven systems on cloud platforms
CanadaSenior Backend Engineer at Wing
About
I'm building and scaling Wing's fintech platform for investment tracking and advisory workflows, including financial APIs for portfolios, loans, and assets. I also built an event-driven notification engine and integrated LLM-powered insights that turn financial data into actionable user actions.
At Acuity Insights, I built systems processing 2 million assessment answers annually and delivered a test-planning system with a 200ms P95 response time at scale. I strengthened application security with AWS Secrets Manager, automated seed-data creation, and mentored junior developers.
Earlier, I led Afrinolly, whose Android app won the Google Android Developers Challenge for Sub-Saharan Africa and surpassed a million Play Store downloads. Across fintech, education, e-commerce, entertainment, and mobile products, I connect business and technology through backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and product development.
